This came out way cooler than I thought. I had lost a bet so my "embarrassing" thing I had to do was put temporary tattoos on my arm that I would have to wear during this shoot and I actually really like way it came out since I didn't have any festival make-up to accommodate this look. Kimonos are great for festivals because they are light weight but still provide some warmth and having a bustier allows you to get an even tan. But always make sure to wear sun screen! Boots are my thing at festivals because I don't like sand getting into my shoes to tennis shoes and sandals are a big fat no for me. You can never go wrong in black and white.

F A S H I O N // Coachella 2k15

Unfortunately I'm not going to Coachella this year, but this is one of the outfits I would wear. I love it because it's not quite revealing/midrift-showing but still is flowy enough to keep cool. I would never go to Coachella without my trusty boots as I've worn these to both Coachella's I've been to and love wearing boots because it keeps out the dust from my feet and legs, and they're good for standing all day. This is currently my favorite bag! I'd so rather use a backpack any day than a purse because the weight is better distributed and this bag holds so much stuff! Unfortunately not big enough to hold a large water bottle, so that would be something I'd have to carry in my hands. I love that H&M partners with Coachella and I would have loved to win their contest to go. Maybe next year yeah?

F A S H I O N // The Black&White Lookbook (Spring 2015)

I've been envisioning this video for quite some time now and I finally got a chance to film it. I wasn't able to do all the editing I had imagined but it came out pretty well. I started using Final Cut Pro which is a totally different world compared to iMovie and a huge learning curve. Overall, I'm happy with the way it came out and hope you like the looks. Let me know in the comments which is your favorite!

The make up was super simple as I literally used the black and white eyeshadows on the Alice in Wonderland Palette and then used the 24/7 Pencil Eyeliner in Zero. I was able to get one product of the Cinderella line from MAC, so of course you know I got a lipstick.

Most of this stuff is pretty dated and if anything the newest items were the over the knee boots, black dress and kimono which was last fall/winter season. The good thing about these looks is that they are minimal and can be dressed up in any way you like and for any season.

If she has that ace of spades, don't trust her. Look at her with her brown-eyed grin hiding under those sunglasses. She must be hiding something with such large sunglasses and those leggy boots. She's the master of disguise hiding amongst the people. You'll never know what she's done until you ask her. Only the mafia, will do anything to get away.

I just discovered the game Mafia so you can tell this post has been inspired by this game. So in the game you are dealt a random card: The aces are mafia, king is the sheriff/spy, queen is the nurse/healer/doctor, and any number cards are the townspeople. It's a game of secrecy, deceit, and rounding up the townspeople to defeat the mafia. Convince the people who is who to win the game. Simple right?

She's there throughout the day but she glows brighter in the night when the sun isn't there to outshine her. When she glows, it comes from within. You can see the illumination around her body and everywhere she steps she leaves a trail behind with flecks of color and bright glowing lights.
